Don’t be fooled by the basic setup, this fish and chip shop packs it in! Came highly recommended and the food served up is nicely fried (in the bestest sense). Usual suspects on the menu apply but the prices are really decent especially for Elwood.
Nice touches here– snipped corners of the bags allow chips to ventilate and not steam into a soggy mess. Also I had lime wedges opposed to lemon which is so good on seafood.
Very popular with locals and day trippers alike especially over summer where the beach is 200 metres away. Best to phone order in the evening as wait times do blow out but that’s testament of a good ol’ fish and chippery.
