Nothing special. Seaweed salad was decent but the sushi was pretty uneventful. The bathroom situation is disgusting — go outside then into this outhouse level of bathroom that is unclean to put it mildly and REEKS. Not going back.

Must be the best Japanese restaurant in around Elsternwick. The place is quite cozy and always full around dinnertime. The menu is simple and nice. If you’re looking to takeaway, call in & order in advance to avoid waiting in the crowd!

I am very lucky that this is my local takeaway sushi place. If you live in the area then you are also one of the lucky ones.
The other day I came here quite late and didn’t think they would have any sushi left but thought that I would try my luck. When I arrived the cabinet was empty and I nearly cried. I asked if they had prepared anymore and was told that if I ordered two of the same roll they will make it up for me.
That night I ate some of the best salmon and avocado sushi that I have ever eaten in my entire life. They must have run out of rice because the rice to salmon ratio was out of balance. There must have been about $ 30 worth of salmon in those rolls, and not just any salmon either. It was dam good. Wow!
