I was shopping at Castle Plaza with my Mum and we decided to try this place for brunch. My Mum ordered the Eggs Benedict and I ordered the Big Breakfast. I asked for my meal to have gluten free toast, as I noticed they had gluten free sandwiches on the menu, the girl serving replied«we don’t do that anymore», so it was the big breakfast no toast. We went to our table and waited, our coffee came out, that finished, and we waited. Did I mention that there was a total of 7 people excluding us in the café, and we waited. We waited, patiently for for 45 plus minutes, I was about to ask for my money back when our meals arrived. My Mum said her meal was nice, but not worth the wait. My meal was a disaster, in the time that we waited they must of forgotten our order and then rushed it out, the eggs were not cooked, the whites were a congealed uncooked mess and the mushrooms raw. I could not eat the eggs. I let one of the young lads working there know how bad the meal was, poor lad looked so embarrassed, no blame on him, poor bugger just worked there.

bb’s is nothing fancy, it’s pretty simple in décor and furnishings. It does have a decent range of drink options though — from coffee to milk drinks, to fruit smoothies. I tried the raspberry cheesecake here, it wasn’t cold which got my goat. I find it ick when items are luke-warm. It was also dried out, which suggests it wasn’t the freshest cake in the cabinet. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here(or suggest you do), but for a quick pick-me-up during a shopping spree it’s ok. In a nutshell — when a drink and a brief sit down is required!
