If your pooch is getting a little smelly or you can no longer see his eyes due to eyebrow overgrowth make an appointment with Kate. She will have your loyal compadre back to his/​her less smelly/​hairy self in no time. Our family puppy dog, Dyson (named after the vacuum cleaner as he consumes everything that gets in his way) recently enjoyed a trim and hydrobath at Kate’s Laundromutt and came out looking super cute and smelling fabulous!
If your puppy is a bit shy and only requires a wash, this salon has a serve-​your-​self hydrobath facility which is great. I really think it’s best to leave it to the experts though — and Kate seems to have a way with dogs — I’m sure any nervous pooch will be won over by her charm in no time at all.
The business caters for large and small dogs and offers a variety of services including grooming, clipping, hydrobath and blow dry. The prices are very reasonable. A DIY hydrobath will set you back $ 7. You MUST make an appointment — so make sure you call ahead.
