Class Styles

Ignite — This is our signature hot yoga class. This heated class includes postures and breath that are practised in a heated room, to refresh your entire body, mind and spirit.

Flow — This is our Vinyasa yoga class, based on modern power yoga with traditional breath and postures. The yoga is practised in a flow or continuous format and is combined with an inspiring musical soundtrack.

Unique Studio

If you’ve ever tried hot yoga before and had a negative experience it was probably because the heated environment was not setup correctly. Out studio is totally different.

1. We use Far Infrared panels to warm the body directly using its own natural wavelength. No stuffy hot air blowing around.

2. Our studio is carefully climate controlled with humidifers and proper air flow. Clean and clear air for you.

3. We use imported flooring that is moisture and germ resistant. No smelly studio.

History

Established in 2002.

The Fire Shaper brand is the lovechild of Dr John and Natalie Surie. John had been a licensed Doctor of Chiropractor in the United States of America since 1997 and has worked with celebrities, elite athletes, and families for over two decades. From the age of 12, John has been training in the Martial Arts and has been teaching steadily since the age of 16.

In 1995, Dr. John had begun practicing Yoga on a daily basis to enhance his martial art practice. It began with Power Yoga and together with his good friend & student he steadily practiced postures in conjunction with his Martial Art teaching and practice. In 2000, Dr. John and Natalie met and started practicing Bikram Yoga together in New York City. The went on to found a studio and since then, both, Natalie and Dr. John have studied with many modern yoga masters in different trainings, workshops and immersions to completely re-​define the Hot Yoga experience as it is known today. 7 studios later, this is Fire Shaper!
