Love the coffee here it’s always amazing! Rich, smooth, chocolatey and a little bit fruity(?). I’m only deducting a star due to location(this is based on takeaway coffees, i haven’t eaten here yet). It’s just abit too much of a hassle for me to go to for a takeaway coffee(especially with a pram) as it is so difficult to park there, due to their popularity and being located in such a tiny little complex. I always find myself parking halfway down the road in front of some poor person’s house, and don’t even bother on a Sunday morning!

This little café, nestled amongst a row of small suburban shops, has a welcoming and friendly feel — small wonder that it has a regular and loyal band of local patrons. You can phone through and order coffees and breakfast, and pick them up on your way to work. LS told me they make hundreds of coffees each day with significantly more on the weekend, and they have their coffee making down to a science. Their all day breakfast menu looked very enticing but sadly at 2.45pm I was too late to order off the menu, so I chose something from the cabinet. They have a range of raw cakes and slices and banana breads, but I needed something savoury so I opted for their bacon, egg and relish slice. The slice was served warm with butter and hit the spot, along with a satisfying long mac. I was happy with the price which was under $ 9 for both. I sat out back in the small al fresco area; pleasant and shady yesterday but likely too hot in summer. There is also a bench seat out front of the café if you don’t mind facing the carpark. I wish this was my local as I think I’d be here almost every day. I’ll just have to content myself with popping in on shopping days and working my way through that delicious-sounding menu. Kudos to the über friendly staff, especially the barista who was happy and proud to chat about the café. I love finding little suburban gems like this, and Perth fortunately seems to have a growing number of them.

Little Sisto is one hidden gem located in the middle of the Doubleview suburb. As G and I lived in Woodlands, it was really good to see a nice little café close to home which was perfect for our catch up over brunch. We arrived just in time for brunch(Brunch is served from 11.30am-3pm) on a weekday and the café was not too busy. Little Sisto also has an alfresco dining area, which is currently pending approval to operate from the council of City of Stirling. It would also be nice to dine and sip a coffee outside under the blue sunny sky. For brunch, I had the Eggs Benedict($ 15) with poached eggs, leg ham and housemade hollandaise on sourdough. As you can see from the picture, the poached egg test has been passed with flying colours. One knife through the poached eggs and wow. Orange liquid with full of yummy goodness oozing out. It was perfect. The hollandaise sauce was light and creamy, complementing well with the tasty bacon. Everything on this plate just goes so well together. Oh and not forgetting about the soft and fluffy sourdough too. YUM! G had the Thyme Roasted Mushrooms with parsley, lemon and Persian fetta on multigrain sourdough($ 12.50). Here’s her review of her dish: The salty and creamy feta cheese was a nice accompaniment to the mushrooms. However, there could have been a little more lemon juice to balance the creamy richness of the cheese and the olive oil, as I only tasted it on a few of the mushrooms. I liked the dish overall, but would have liked another piece of the lovely sourdough bread to feel more satisfied! Service was friendly and fast and our plates were cleared quickly. G and I had a great time catching up with each other while indulging in some delicious food for brunch. I had to agree with G that the service was quite friendly and accommodating; making sure if everything was alright so far and if we needed anymore coffee or drinks. I would really love to try breakfast at Little Sisto and their cakes on display one day, so yes, I’ll be back. To fans of coffee, Little Sisto also serves good, quality coffee, using Five Senses beans. What’s the best part of Little Sisto? The food, coffee and for me, it’s close to home.

Not impressed with this café. Firstly, I’m paying the same price for this tiny cup of coffee as I’d pay for their medium size coffee. It’s cold in here & I ended up wearing my scarf & jacket due to the back door being open & the front door opening with customers coming in. Due to this I’ve just sent my brekkie back as it was cold. When hot it was nice but nothing amazing.

I had the muesli for breakfast. It was YERRRRRM! Coffee was tasty and hot. Excellent service, very attentive without being pushy. We asked for some coffees to go when we left and they were ready right on time.

Delicious coffee. Cheap but small breakfast servings. Supreme service, like you would struggle to find in an expensive restaurant.

Steady stream of regulars and a barista sporting stretch holes and lotsa ink. All signs say; «we make good coffee». Coffee rates about 7⁄10. Smooth but not the buttery chocolatey kind that i’m fond of — there was a slight bitterness to it, but in a good way. Their sweets are a bit different from the standard coffee side cakery. Thumbs up. Chocolate quinoa mini cakes, savoury baby loaves and caramel corn. Other yays: Marigold coffee cups. Free wifi. Toasted sandwiches with gourmet fiilings. Text ahead service. Courtyard out the back. Nays: 30 minute parking and not a lot of it. Don’t seek out for ambience, just get caffeinated, read the paper, catch up on emails and treat yourself to one of the treats made in house.
