I recently purchased an Xbox(hear that, Mum and Dad? Now I have my own money to waste on useless things) and I don’t really know two bits about gaming. I enjoy it, but there’s a lot I don’t understand. So I’m still trying out different games and figuring out just what exactly my tastes are. EB games offer all the usual releases but also plenty of the old ones, pre-owned. Which means that instead of paying upwards of $ 100 when the game first comes out, I can spend $ 20 and try it out later. You won’t get those margins on popular games but at least you have something else to mash. There’s a lot to like about that. Also, you can bring the game back in when you’re done and get money off the next thing it is that you’re buying. However I’ve found that it all depends on what you’re subbing back in. Like, if I come back with something less in demand, it’s not going to grant me much of a discount off that new $ 100 game. EB Games have a good selection across all consoles, as well as friendly staff that aren’t at all awkward like I am. In fact, they’re quite happy to have a chat. I was all intimidated by the gaming culture and yet it seems to be welcoming me with open arms. Perhaps they also want my money.
