Tender Trap Restaurant Bar

I’ve eaten here twice now and both times the food and service has been excellent. The staff are friendly and alert and happy to chat with you about the menu or wine list.
Last night I had the mussels as an entrée and the rib eye steak for a main. The mussels came in a generous serve and were cooked just right and served a delicious thick creamy sauce. The rib eye was done just the way a liked it. The other in our party had the soft-​shell crab followed by the wagyu steak. Again, all very bloody tasty. It is great to have a really good restaurant close to Warrandyte other than Mercers.
The only thing is that even when it is not crowded, it is a bit noisy and hard to hear your fellow diners. I know a lot of restaurants are set up this way purposefully, but I don’t like it.
Well done once more guys. We will be back.
