This was my first visit and it will be my last. Walked in to an empty shop at 7 pm. One dodgy scallop combined with a wrong order and I rang up and spoke with the owner. The first thing she did was deny the error and I am standing there looking at my wrong order. I had the proof in front of me. She again denied it. Surely it cannot be that hard for a Professional to take some pre-prepared food products, heat them in oil, and serve them wrapped in paper. They couldn’t even blame the error on being busy. Save your money, save your time, save the effort and find a good fish and chip shop in Diamond Creek. Giving Yellowtail a one star rating is too good for them. 15÷7÷14 — Twelve months later and true to my word I haven’t been back.

Clean, friendly and well set out for eating in(or waiting on an order), I can’t turn down Yellowtail on a Wednesday. Why Wednesday? Because that’s GLUTENFREEDAY! A weekly event where completely separate oil is kept for frying GF battered fish, perfect chips, GF potato cakes, scallops, pineapple ring, banana with cinnamon sugar, basically most typically battered yummies. There are salad options too, but I can’t account for them first hand… ;-) We now have a loyalty card and can happily confirm said Gluten Free-ness. Thanks Yellowtail — I love that our family can have F&C Wednesdays!
