Pink Peppercorn is surprisingly easy to get a table at, considering how good the food is. I think it’s Laotian-style. My current favourite dishes are chargrilled lamb with cucumber and lots of fresh herbs … and something involving prawns, coconut milk, chilli and coriander. It’s sort of predictable, but Pink Peppercorn manage to do coconut dishes with a very light touch, and a lot of flavour. The presentation is lovely and the waiters are always very sweet. If you’re looking for something that’s a bit of a step up from boring old Sydney Thai or Sydney Chinese restaurants, Pink Peppercorn is a little bit different. One tip: the corkage fee is a bit steep $ 3.50 pp.

Excellent service, great food and a relaxed atmosphere all combined for a wonderful meal. Plus that glass of WA Semillion Sauvignon Blanc… delicious.
