Camperdown Cellars

The Darlinghurst branch of this excellent bottle shop offers an extensive selection of wines and beers, which comes in very handy considering its proximity to numerous BYO restaurants on Victoria Street.
If you’re of more refined tastes (and have a healthy bank balance to match), Camperdown Cellars also offers a selection of rare and aged wines — not the sort of thing you’d take to the local Thai restaurant. It also offers a good selection of foreign beers — which pleases me, as I’m able to buy some of my favourite English ales (yes, the ones that are usually served room temperature!), although they are a little more pricey than in the off-​licenses of London, but they do have to fly here I suppose.
Oh, and if you’re into your spirits, there’s plenty of choices on offer in that department too.
