From here on I vow to click ‘next’ when seeing a property listing managed by Run Property. The apartment featured problem after problem after problem and not a single email was returned or callback received. It’s one thing to tell us not to fix anything ourselves but to tell us to call them for help and have us find that there is NOONE who will fix anything is a whole other realm of non-helpfulness. A water pipe burst inside our apartment underneath the dishwasher which allowed water to pool under the floor boards. This made the floor boards warp and jut outward creating a small mountain in the living room. The mountain became part of the house after 2 months and wasn’t fixed even after we moved out. If you can’t manage a small apartment what does that tell me about your ability to manage a larger property? When it comes time to buy I will always click ‘Next’ on seeing the red Run logo.

OK, you shouldn’t really say anything bad about your real estate agent for fear of getting a «time for you to leave» notice, especially in a public domain such as this! Run Property is more of a property management company, so I imagine they’d be better to deal with if you’re looking to buy a place. I’ve been with them for almost 3 years now, and so far not too many disasters. Oh, apart from the fact they lost our lease which proved a little annoying when it came to applying for my visa and having to prove where I lived! But apparently they found it eventually, as they sent us a letter to inform us that our lease was set to expire on August 14, 2010, and would we like to renew it for another year — they sent this in August 2011. Nice! Oh well, we all make mistakes — some are just slightly«sillier» than others! Then there was the problem with the bath, but now I’m just getting picky! On the good side of things, I’ve never had a problem with the people that work there. Surely that’s a plus point for a real estate agent!
