UDAYA team will offer a full building scope from designers, to engineers, to builders and real estate agents. This development solution will enable a superior building product at an affordable price to the customer.

History

Established in 2001.

The UDAYA Group commenced operations in 2001, focusing on multi-​unit developments, investment properties, and house and land packages. Its beginning was humble with three employees supervising the building of approximately 20 homes annually. As the volume of homes being constructed grew, inevitably so did the number of staff and demand on resources.

In 2006, the UDAYA Group was formed and established its first corporate head office in Dandenong whilst rapidly expanding its business activities and diversifying into complementary industries. In 2009, as part of its strategic plan to expand construction activities into residential subdivisions, UDAYA Homes acquired a fleet of earthmoving machinery to enable them to complete all the required civil engineering work for their developments.

Furthermore, the UDAYA Group also opened three international offices in Sri Lanka & Singapore, to establish itself as a multi-​national corporation.

Meet the Manager

Vidu U.

Manager

Vidu Udaya is the Managing Director of the UDAYA Group. He has developed his skills for such a position through extensive onsite hands on work experience and equally impressive academic achievements over the past five years.

His passion for construction led him to start his career from a humble general on-​site labouring role when he was just 15, from which he went on to become a site-​supervisor to a site-​engineer and finally to the position of UDAYA Group’s Managing Director. His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Civil & Infrastructure Engineering (1^st Class Honours) and he is a Master Builder and a Registered Building Practitioner with the Building Commission of Australia. To complement his technical knowledge and to better his skills in corporate management he is currently completing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA).
