If you’re one of those people that love going for country motor-​cycle rides then this is a great destination, especially since the ride up Gorge Road is amazing (though I don’t happen to be one of those people). This is a small pub, appended to the local caravan park, that basically sits at the top of Gorge Road. The owners are really friendly, but it is the location that makes this place abosutely amazing. It is nestled in the Adelaide Hills and the river runs alongside it. They even have a beer garden down near the river, though we simply sat out the front. The beers are also really cheap. It’s a great place to simply stop for a few minutes and admire the scenery.

It’s my local so I may be biased a teeny little bit but I love this place! A real country pub with country pub meals at a good price! The fire is on and it’s toasty warm inside! Andy and Karen are welcoming always and It’s a great place to catch up with locals and people passing through. Thursday night is $ 10.00 schnitty night, as much as you can eat. A buffet with salad and roast veggies and the best gravy. There is a choice of veal, chicken or pork schnitzels! Monday to Wednesday $ 4.50 pints on tap all day. The Cudlee is only 30 km from the City straight up the beautiful Gorge Road. Worth a visit!
