Best place for easy, clean, quality food. Top coffee. Not expensive or fancy. Just regular folk to the very best. Great atmosphere, very chilled without being cold.

The Porch is a lovely brunch/​lunch café in a gorgeous part of Adelaide tucked away from South Road and Port Road.
It was towards the end of the day but they kept the kitchen open so we could order cooked meals and it was fabulous.
The kids had pancakes which were so fluffy and fresh served with whipped cream and maple syrup. The milkshakes looked amazing too — like real old-​school milk bar shakes!
The main menu is predominantly burgers (beef, chicken or veg) as well as a selection of salads. I had the Tex Mex beef burger and it was
. Perfectly balanced flavours without being OTT. The meals took a bit to come out but everything was made to order and there were only 2 staff left as it was the end of the day. They were very lovely and the customer service was quality.
The burgers are huge — not your trendy small brioche bun, but very tasty and great value for money. The fries that come with are chunky, golden and fluffy.
If you like The Pantry, Café Komodo and Dear Daisy you will enjoy this quirky, eclectic café.
