I barely dare admit that I went here to buy saxophone reeds. It seems almost shameful. Amidst the shelves and shelves of sheet music, a trove of treasure for the musically inclined, my wee purchase paled into insignificance. I felt very small. Surely I needed a Stravinsky score … or the Folk Songs of the Four Seasons … even a kit for a Student Ensemble to play Eleanor Rigby! But no, just the saxophone reeds. And they weren’t even for me. As sheet music specialists go, though, this is the bomb. I know where to go if ever I DO raise myself to this cerebral level.
