We happened upon alphabet st which is situated on The beachfront on a busy Saturday night and they managed to squeeze us in which was very good of them. We were celebrating our last night in sydney so decided to splash out and it was well worth it!
Had the tapioca dumplings and roti bread for entrée followed by the three flavour fish all of which was fantastic amazing flavours. All accompanied by a beautiful glass of dr loosen Riesling which is one of my personal favorite wines.
We felt very grown up and cool in amongst the crowd and enjoyed every minute!
Would definitely reccomend this place to others in cronulla.

Visited Alphabet St on a Monday night for dinner, we turned up and the restaurant was packed. We considered going somewhere else when the owner approached us proactively and explained that he knew we were waiting and he would get a table ready for us within the next 10 minutes. We were seated within 5 minutes, menus and great introductions from the waitress with names, very polished. She took our order for cocktails — Apple cocktail is fantastic and a must try.
Our table ordered the 72 hour slow cooked beef that was fantastically cooked and well prepared, great presentation along with a taste to die for and meat that melted in your mouth. We also tried the Stir fried mushrooms which went down a treat for something fresh. The Massaman curry was presented amazingly well and was to a high standard.
We also ordered coconut rice, I don’t think I could ever go back to normal boiled rice now. Every Thai restaurant should take this feedback on & make it a standard item… delicious…
Overall it was great to see a new, vibrant restaurant with great service, fresh smiles & approach. Thank you guys for a great dining experience. Only piece of feedback would be to shorten the time between entrees & mains, wait was worth it but we were absolutely starving.
Will certainly be coming back after a great meal, service and alternate menu to a typical Thai restaurant.
