Body in Motion Pilates and Pole is a boutique studio in the heart of Cremorne on Sydney’s lower north shore.

Whether you choose to sign up for a Pilates or Pole dance class all programs are individually tailored to ensure optimal personalised attention. Private, duet and trio Pilates apparatus or Pole dance classes are offered and sessions are conducted under professional supervision in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

History

Established in 2012.

Elouise Sauer (also known by her stage name Porsche, Miss Pole Dance Australia 2013) has a lifetime experience in the movement principles of classical ballet, Pilates and pole dancing, as we know it as an elite sport today. Elouise has extensive background as a classical ballet, pole and aerial performer nationally as well as internationally. She has been practicing as a Pilates instructor on Sydney’s lower north shore since 2001. Body in Motion Pilates was established in 2012 with the add on of a boutique pole dance studio in 2014.

The passionate and dynamic team of Body in Motion Pilates and Pole instructors are individually selected for their strong client focus and attention to detail.

Meet the Business Owner

Elouise S.

Business Owner

When Elouise was small, she saw ballet classes being conducted at school and asked her mother if she could join in; so starting a life-​long love of dance and movement. As the recipient of the Dulcie Howes and Balletomanes scholarships, Elouise studied for the Performers Certificate in Dance at the University of Cape Town. Elouise was subsequently awarded the Linbury Trust scholarship by Anya Sainsbury to further her classical ballet and contemporary dance training at the Rambert School of Dance, London. Upon her return to South Africa, Elouise joined Cape Town City Ballet, during which time she performed numerous solo and principal roles, and was promoted to soloist status with the company.

Elouise immigrated to Sydney in 2001 and obtained the Royal Academy of Dance Teachers Certificate and Diploma, with distinction. She taught at two of Sydney’s leading ballet schools; Ecole Ballet Studios and SCEGGS Redlands Ballet and Dance Academy. During this time, Elouise attended Pilates class
