We were really happy when we discovered this tiny Vietnamese eatery in Coro Valley as there is a dearth of anything decent in the way of takeaway in this area. It appears to be run by a young couple, the young man who takes the orders over phone and at the restaurant is very pleasant and likeable. The place itself is spotlessly clean with only about six tables and fairly spartanly furnished. I need to talk about the spring rolls — they are fantastic, fresh, crisp and so non greasy! Worth going for alone! The phở is good, especially when eaten on site as you get to add the extra condiments etc. and at $ 11 great value, especially as you don’t need anything else. But!!! The last time we ordered takeaway it wasn’t up to the normal standard. We ordered the Claypot special and Broken Rice Combo, both of which had an assortment of proteins within as you would expect, but included a rather greasy sweetish sausage which seemed to take away from the whole dish, in fact it appeared to be a mish mash of stuff thrown together. Ba bow! So, get it together Hidden Hills, you have potential, youth, location badly under serviced, you can do this!!! Get some consistency going and you can make it. We will be back to try, the area needs this place!
