On a bit of a whim, we bought coupons for 8 beginners classes. So far, it’s definitely been money well spent! The instructors are fantastic and we are slowly getting into the salsa groove.
The classes are conducted in 2 stages — the steps taught individually, then practiced with a partner in two rotating circles. The latter can be a bit annoying, as women far outnumber the men in the class (which is to be expected really), but luckily the gentlemen from the intermediate class afterwards often step in.
Definitely keen to find a social dance night soon to practice our new skills!
