Reclaimed has only moved into the Johnston Street strip in the last few months. It resides down the quiet end of Johnston Street, just before the Hoddle Street intersection. It would certainly get a lot of traffic past it on weekdays, but I’m guessing most wouldn’t stop to turn into the side street to park and take a look. That would be a mistake. This is a little gem for vintage homeware shoppers. Reclaimed seems to specialise in mainly wooden homewares and furniture. It is crowded with long benches, dining room sets, side tables and ladders. It also has a wide selection of china and retro kitchenware. The side room has street signs and brass letters/numbers for sale. For collectors there are also children’s games and toys to ponder. I must admit to eyeing off some old fashioned wooden planters and little bookcases at quite cheap prices.
