L & D Photo Express

L & D Photo Express is a smallish shop on Smith St that, amazingly, still develops film (and at a reasonable price!). It also does prints of digital photos, and the usual enlargement services, as well as middling range of picture frames.
It’s run by a husband-​and-​wife pair who do all the orders themselves. If you need someone to help you out with printing (i.e. give them your files to print), this place has much better one-​on-​one service than you’d find at a kiosk — I was able to walk in, email them a photo from my phone and have it printed out while I waited.
On the minus side, it seemed to take an inexplicably long amount of time for the printing itself to occur — and while I was there another customer came in to complain about cropping in her digital print.
On the plus side, the staff were happy to re-​print, and generally friendly. So, if you have the time, it’s worth a visit for the service.
