I have three letters for you — N R S. Wild Timor is the first eatery I have seen to list some of their meals as NRS, meaning No Refined Sugar. In our health conscious world I find this completely and utterly genius! I popped in to Wild Timor for a quiet brunch with the boss and was impressed with their breakfast options — both beverage and food. I went with a chai latte but they also had matcha and the increasingly popular turmeric. For brunch I was a bit boring and went with poached eggs and VERY crunchy bacon(just how I like it. Crunch factor at its max.) However my companion went with the Veggie breakfast, which was essentially a big plate of green deliciousness. But the best part of Wild Timor is that you can eat with a good conscience! Every coffee you drink supports Wild Timor’s work in Timor — whether that be providing water or supporting a birthing centre. Cheers to that.

I love this café so much and for so many reasons. –Delicious strong coffee, –Wonderful service. –Not just coffee– check out the Golden Chai with turmeric, ginger and cinnamon. A delicious range of tea, smoothies and tonics.(you’ll need to visit daily to try them all) –wonderful concept with a feel good fall on effect(proceeds go to support develop business and livelihoods of the Timorese) — must have the hottest Barista in town — vegan cakes and dessert — menu reasonably priced and some unusual suspects(I tried the daily specials brioche toast with jalapeño rocket and avo $ 8 folks, not double the price that you would be charged anywhere else in town) also has to be one of the best brioche around — they support other local businesses(bred from Der Partisan in Moreland) — outdoor seating, indoor seating comfortable not too loud, courtyard seating– haven’t been yet but find me there soon! –just friggin fantastic all around Love it and I will be back !

Delicious inspiring breakfast and lunch options. I got the poached eggs on salad with Parmesan shavings. The eggs were perfect with rich thick deep orange yolks. The asparagus and broccoli in the arugula were crisp and bright green, super fresh — not over or under cooked. The coffee was the best coffee I’ve had in Australia so far. Reminds me of Blue Bottle Coffee in California. Really chill funky music with framed photos on the walls describing the mission of the coffee house — to elevate the coffee producers’ lives with fair trade practices, and the added effort to bring clean running water, shelter, and more, to the growers of these Portuguese coffee plants, seeded over 200 years ago!

Fantastic café with genuinly friendly staff in Coburg with a story, as name suggests. The menu recently expanded to meet the hungry demands and increased local popularity. I recommend asking about any specials as they often trial new dishes. The breakfast menu and smoothies are an excellent way to kick off a slow day, or healthy light meals for lunch. Summer time was survived by their coconut ice coffees and their coffee is very decent, you can buy a bag of beans or grind for home. Do not be deceived by the previous one-star review based off one sandwich. Bread consistency is such a matter of opinion.

Great idea for a café and super friendly staff, but the food I ordered(pumkin and blue cheese sandwich on a cakey bread) was quite uninspiring.
