Review for nursery only I’ve driven past here many times and finally decided to pop in to get some new plants I was very surprised by the décor and ambiance, The café at the front has a very welcoming feel, beautiful greenery thanks flip the nursery and actually very cute and lush. Plants for sale are spread all through out from the small courtyard entrance and café right to the back. Staff seems very lovely and happy to answer questions and to direct you, and it feels very ‘local community’. Definitely a different feel to going to Bunnings. Staff here are well acquainted with their plans and have happily nursed them. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have named some of the plants there. In fact, a select few were chosen to stay and marked not for sale :) The little birdie also said that a beer garden was opening soon, so I am very excited to see this place get another dose of life as it really is a beautiful nursery and it would be just fab to be able to enjoy it even more! We will be back for sure and next time maybe we will stop for a coffee here too

Besides being in a beautiful setting with easy parking across the road every time I’ve been here the coffee has been 8⁄10 and the food is just lovely. I get the impression that the Greek influenced food is made from scratch with offerings such as Mousaka, saganaki, a range of breakfasts, a kids menu and cakes to delight. Today I opted for the veggie balls with garden salad. It came with sweet chilli sauce. There is an outdoor area and there is a pizza oven separate from the kitchen which is fired up on the weekends.

In anticipation of some warmer weather I went here to get a bag of seed raising mix. I have all these seeds waiting to be planted but no seed raising mix. It is kind of cool going to the nursery of a minor celebrity gardener who has had a show on SBS and Channel 31. However usually it is Vasili’s parents working behind the counter. Today Vasili is behind the counter however are served by another staff member. The nursery has been there a few years but it has recently been refurbished to include a café in the front. It looks even better than before — better layout to the nursery too. I haven’t tried the café yet but I have every intention of someday when the weather is better and C has time. The café specializes in Greek cooking. The addition of the café has not had much of an impact on the area of the actual nursery as previously that area was full of garden ornaments. I buy most of my garden supplies here. Last year I bought an olive tree that I planted in the front of my house. The nursery stocks a wide variety of plants, seedlings, seeds, garden tools, fertilizer and mulch.
