The Coburg Trash and Treasure Market is a bit further from public transport, so visitors here are really here on a mission.
Most arrive quite early, hawking bargains before sellers even load them out of the car. the saying, ëarly bird gets the worm, definitely is true here. Best strategy is to come in early if you know what you want. Sellers are likely to be more agreeable to your offer.
Later in the day however, there are other bargains at play. It’s early start for these guys so they love offers that can send them home early.
This market has lots of produce stalls, cheap fruit, veg, home grown plants and bigger potted sized plants.
There are lots of bric and bracs, electronics and some unusual surprises including the odd cake and candle stalls
There are toilets on site, a play and picnic area and ample parking on site.
Overall, a good go to market if you are looking for a bargain.
