In the building of our new kitchen we needed to buy new taps, faucet and kitchen sink. C and I had a good look at their range in their display room and found what we were looking for in the form of a mixer tap and a double sink.
On another occasion, during the rebuilding of the kitchen, the plumber sent me down to get a particular connector for the drainage pipes. So I’m standing in line at their trade’s desk hoping that the plumber has scrawled something meaningful on the scrap of paper. Fortunately the guy behind the counter understand what I’m talking about, I don’t and gets me the right part.
