What can I say, I was BLOWN AWAY… not only by the amazing work produced but also by the outstanding quality of service. If you wanted to get perfection when it comes to framing, you MUST go and see Bill or Michael. If you went anywhere else, other than Arty Farty Frameworks, it would be a waste of not only your money, but also your time. I have been to many frame shops to get things done and they simply rip your off and the workmanship is terrible. Whereas with Michael & Bill you are assured to pay a VERY reasonable prices and get way more than what you paid for. Anything they do turns out simply perfect! My mother has been taking her things to get framed there for years and recently I took in a hand painted canvas from South Africa, that was very precious to me, to Arty Farty Frameworks. I was initially very hesitant as I had a bad experiences with another framing company with one of my paintings. However, Michael was so knowledgeable, personable and professional, that I immediately felt at ease leaving it with him. Michael informed us of all the options we had and let us know what would be the best option. I had no clue what frame to choose, he simply looked at the artwork and based on textures and colours in the painting he helped us choose something we would be happy with. To add to that the price was so reasonable!!! It was ready in a couple of days and when I received it I could not believe the end result, I was ecstatic. I look at it every day and cannot believe how it turned out. After being reassured that these guys truly know what they are doing, I took in another piece of art from Mozambique and I was served by Bill this time. Now this piece of art had already been previously stretched by someone else and the end result was not something I was please with, and I was worried it was ruined. With all his expertise and knowledge, Bill laid out absolutely every option and informed me which was the best option. He spent a very substantial time putting up with me and explaining everything in detail. I could not believe his patience. As always I was blown away. Both Michael & Bill are just amazing, and I don’t think I will be going anywhere else other than to them for anything I want framed, stretched, etc. Thank you so much guys!!!

Over the last decade I’ve had a lot of my own paintings framed here because they do affordable framing — frames can be very expensive. I could mention their range of molding and mattes but over the years I have also learned to trust Bill’s judgment on the choosing the right frames and matting.
There are important differences in the framing of a watercolor, an oil painting or a cross-​stich and these guys know how to frame each of these things properly. They do a lot of framing of football jumpers and other souvenirs that require deep frames and careful mounting of the objects.
There is a showroom where they have examples of their work and framed collectibles. Out the back is the factory area where they do the actual framing.
I have recommended them to friends and seen plenty of excellent examples of Arty Farty’s frames — they have also remarked on the great prices.
