So busy when we went but wait wasn’t too bad. Food was absolutely amazing! Had the braised beef cheeks. Can’t wait to go back. Great little shop.

Really like this place! The best café in the area, and a million times their main competition Sapore who are very overrated. I went to Sapore and had the worst food and service and was harrassed by the owner or manager. I heard the staff walked out and started this place — where you get great value, good quality meals and always with a big smile. It can be slow when it gets crazy busy but that’s because they get swamped with customers. When I come in they always give a heads up on long waits and are very apologetic — we even had a free coffee for waiting once even though we already agreed onbthe wait time. Big thumbs up!

Finally I’ve treated myself to the famous Café 2 Twenty Four super shake after days of tempting mouthwatering photos on social media! We treated ourselves to the Snickers Supershake. think cream, ice cream, chocolate sauce, peanuts and snickers galore! Such a devilish treat and for a price of $ 9 a good buy! I found the serving size to be huge so I’m happy I shared(calorie wise too)!

Only came here to try their supashake that I’ve heard so much about through Instagram! Shared the choc honeycomb supashake with my daughter and it was mind blowing! So perfectly made… not too sweet, icy cold and some tasty crumbled up bits of honeycomb throughout and on the side. I think I’ve died and gone to heaven! Must get back out there to try the others

This buzzing little café should be at the top of your sunday brunch list! I live in Lathlain so there is heaps to choose from down the Vic Park strip but Ide rather cross the Orrong road of separation and delve into this busy not so hidden gems culinary delights … the chunky guacomole on ciabatta never disappoints(apart from the parsely garnish but thats just a personal hatrid towards the horrible herb) fast service too!!!

I have set my eye on Café 2 Twenty Four for a while… Think massive gourmet milkshakes. Think brunch. Yep you get the picture. Located in the heart of Belmont, next to Belmont Forum, you will be able to find Café 2 Twenty Four easily. We arrived just before the peak lunch hour and the café was already busy. I have heard so much of the super shakes and the mega Gaytime shake before coming to Café 2 Twenty Four. As we wanted to try something different, we decided to share a Mega Gaytime shake($ 11.90). All eyes were set on the Gaytime shake when it arrived on the table. It’s definitely one mega shake for sure bursting full of flavour. Loved the Golden Gaytime ice cream to top it all off! I had the Eggs Royal($ 16.90) which comprises of smoked salmon, two poached eggs, house made hollandaise sauce, garnished with asparagus and toast. The poached eggs were spot on with yellow liquid oozing out. It’s definitely eggs royal on a plate! What topped off this whole dish was the hollandaise sauce. Perfect in consistency, it’s rich and creamy, complementing well with the freshness of the smoked salmon and the poached eggs. Café 2 Twenty Four is a lovely café perfect for a catch up over brunch or to indulge in massive, drool worthy milkshakes. If you love milkshakes, you will definitely love the milkshakes at Café 2 Twenty Four because it’s milkshake heaven in here.

Group of 2 SATURDAY30/01/2016 Came at the perfect time as a table of two was just being cleared down. It was hard to choose what to have from the menu as there are so many yummy choices. Looking at others with their giant shakes made it tempting to get one too however with the sky opening up and the rain coming down, hot coffee was the choice today. We both enjoyed our meals. The Bacon & Egg Burger came with a perfectly gooey egg perched on top. The winner of the two meals was definitely the Trio of Mushrooms. The service here is awesome. It was lovely to be greeted at the counter by someone who smiled and generally cared about what she was doing. Perfect start to the day.

My colleagues and I work from this café every Friday morning because we love the friendly staff, free wifi and lush food. The chunky guacamole is probably my favourite dish, but the overnight oats are also a really winner. The servings are large and keep up going until dinner. The only thing that would make this better for me is more healthy options, like a smoothie bowl or a mega protein shake!

We went at their busiest period on a Sunday for late brunch, it was easy to get a seat for two. The waitress kindly told us there were seats inside reserved for two when we thought to sit outside at a table in the sun. For those coming in with groups bigger than 4, it would be difficult. We were told there’d be a 40 minute wait on food. It was hectic enough, we could see why. We ordered an iced coffee with almond milk and a skim flat white — both good. We also ordered banana bread because we’d be too hungry waiting on food. The bread tasted like it used plantains, very high on the flavour. Toasted to the right amount of crunch and divine with melted butter. Would get again if we came back. We ordered the chorizo stack and pulled pork benedict. Both have great flavours, not bland or salty. The bread was perfectly sized to be layered open. Usually a lot of places you end up with too much leftover bread with hardly any sauce, dressing or runny egg yolk to soak the bread in. This was perfect. The eggs were poached perfectly runny. The hollandaise and egg you could taste vinegar but it was balanced with the sweet pork. The chorizo had a good spice and were meaty, instead of that usual«spheres» of fat and meat. Great flavours — chorizo and sweet onions. Would definitely come again for two.

What can I say, it was my girlfriends 21st so we were going to get her eyebrows at a place nearby(Belle Sorelle), so we found this café on Instagram and were amazed by the photos, so we thought we would try it out and my god was it so good! I got the chorizo stack while my girlfriend got the smashed avo with egg! Also we got 2 shakes, I got the gaytime one and she got the snickers one! Both Amazing! I wish we lived closer so we can come more often, A new favourite of ours! Can’t wait to go again. A bit of a slow service but other than that good price and good food!

It’s good to see this area lifting the standard with the introduction of sapore(which is ok) and now this. This area used to have nothing to choose from so I was pretty excited to venture out here and try them. My impressions so far are ok though. My coffee lacked any flavour and was dull. It was also very bubbly(again what’s with this perth ?). I ordered the bircher muesli as well. The presentation was nice on the food but presentation alone doesn’t cut it for me. However, they ticked the boxes. The fruits and ingredients were extremely fresh(strawberries, blue berries, quinoa, almonds, edible flowers, honey and even a passionfruit!) Overall I think they need to focus on the coffee quality but they’re definitely heading in the right direction in terms of a great café. Well done.

So good to see great cafes popping up in this area! My inner fat kid could not resist the sight of those huge shakes so I had to stop by. Also had a bit to eat and the food was delish! Smashed avocado isn’t rocket science but they still made it taste like something I couldn’t recreate. Well priced too!

Two weeks in a row I have been here for Sunday breakfast now and this place continues to impress! From its exceptional menu to the presentation and overall taste of the meals what is there not to love! Plus food is on the table on under 20 minutes so no more hangry waits for Sunday breakfast to be served AAA+ I will be here time and time again

What an adorable little place! Superbly located and we’ll set out, when my friend got there after 9am this morning, the place was absolutely abuzz! I had the Mushroom dish(I forget it’s name) with a poached egg and holy moly, it was good! Erring on the naughty side, I ordered a snickers supershake and while offering up roughly a million calories, it was effing amazing. My girlfriend indulged in the salmon Benedict dish accompanied by a green smoothie and seemed to really enjoy both. The coffee was good as was the service, all round, really happy with everything and will be returning.

I lived in Cloverdale right next to Belmont Forum for over seven years in the late nineties, directly opposite from where Sapore Espresso Bar is, and it’s been interesting to see the area develop. There certainly weren’t any decent cafes in the area back then, and now there are two to choose from with the opening of Café 2Twentyfour. It’s located in the shopping complex across from the Forum that also includes Reading Cinemas. Café 2Twentyfour did a good job of announcing their launch on social media and as usual most of Perth’s foodie community headed there quickly, although the pictures are continuing to flow on Instagram. We went there early on the Saturday morning of the opening week. It’s a very welcoming place, plenty of seating inside & out and more importantly lots of light — I’m really sick of dark, uninviting cafes. There also seemed to be an abundance of friendly staff, which was a good thing to see. Café 2Twentyfour’s supershakes had been getting a lot of attention, so I twisted my own arm and tried a mocha one in lieu of my usual long mac($ 9 — also available in Snickers, choc-honeycomb and strawberry & cream). Yum. A bit hard going for breakfast, but it was nicely flavoured, cold, and not too thick. We had trouble choosing what to have, which is always a good sign. Renay settled for the bacon & egg burger on a Turkish bun($ 12.90) with tasted as good as it looked. Beautifully fresh, perfect egg and a generous serving of bacon. Very nice. I was in the mood for something sweet and chose the ricotta pancakes with caramelised banana, bacon, house-made burnt caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream($ 16.90). Beautiful presentation aside, this was a great dish — easily the nicest caramelised banana I’ve had, with a crisp sugar coating that many a crème brûlée would envy. I found the pancakes a bit dry, and would have preferred cream to ice cream but that’s a personal thing and there wasn’t really anything to complain about here. So there we have it — another great addition to Perth’s ever-expanding café scene, although it remains to be seen just how many more we can sustain. It will also be interesting to see what effect the opening of Café 2Twentyfour has on Sapore Espresso, although we drove past after our breakfast and it seemed to be very busy. Hopefully there’s enough customers for both.

Brand spanking new(like freshly painted, one week old kind of deal) this cool new Belmont café is one reason to visit the out of the way burb. E and I popped in last weekend because I was dying to try my new«local»(besides Sapore of course), and although the café is still in its initial«teething» stage, the fabulous fresh food, friendly staff and cute hipster interior was worth a few minor hiccups. We were told we would wait 45 minutes for breakfast on Sunday morning but it arrived fresh and hot and looking divine only 20 minutes later. The menu is pretty extensive and I have three or fours other dishes I just need to try, waiting for me on my next few visits(pulled pork hollandaise anyone?). The Chorizo Stack I did order was full of zing(from the cured sausage of course) but well balanced with beautifully cooked eggs(good poached eggs here guys) and creamy Danish feta. The coffee is on point too so get in the car(as long as there is a table for me available). Well done 224, this place is going to be a winner.

Great new café! Almond milk options as well as GF options. Although we had to wait ~20 mins for our food to come out it was definitely worth the wait as the food was fresh and delicious! The hash brown is one that you dream of! Super crunchy yet doesn’t taste like pure oil! Atmosphere was also lovely, and they have very friendly and accommodating staff.

Thought we’d pounce on this new café before it starts to get busy as most new places do! Tried the Nutella waffles, chunky guacamole on ciabatta bread and a snickers super shake! The waffles serving size of the waffles were massive! But they were a tad bit on the dry side. But still were OK. The chunky guacamole was absolutely delicious! Nice and fresh and tasted amazing. Next time though will be adding poached eggs :)

Café 2 twenty four opened yesterday right next to Belmont Forum. Amazing food, service and something for everyone. Instagram worthy meals! Apparently some ex sapore staff. They have an all day breakfast menu plus additional lunch options. All menu items are under $ 20! Pulled pork eggs bene were the bomb! Kids loved their bacon & eggs which included freshly made juice. We will be back for more!
