When we’re out visiting the family out this way sometimes we meet up at Pelican Park across the road. The closest and possibly the busiest takeaway in the area is the Groovy Groper.
On the weekends you can be waiting up to twenty minutes from when you place your order. This is not because they’re short staffed but because the demand for their good is pretty much well justified.
The prices are pretty cheap, you’ll find that the works burger, which is stacked massive, is fewer than nine-​dollars and the majority of fish and chip meals for one will be under the ten-​dollar mark.
The service is always friendly, no matter how under the pump they are, and being from Redcliffe the fish is always fresh.
For the cheap price you always get a great meal from this place and the views from the Pelican Park across the road are priceless.
