Stephen Dibb Jewellery has to be one of the most, if not the most beautiful and unique jewellery stores in the area. It feels a bit out of place on the humble street at Cleveland.
They have gorgeous diamonds, gems and pearls for all occasions. There are some truly beautiful coloured gemstones, delicate cuts and impressive rings.
They seem to have a focus on engagement rings and helping the average guy pick the perfect one. They are very service and quality oriented. Definitely go if you are looking for something special and a bit different.

One of my favourite pairs of earrings is a Stephen Dibb original and I love wearing them. This shop is bit out of my price range, but I could be cheap… Probably hand crafted stirling silver earrings with onyx drops for about $ 100 isn’t so bad, but as a general rule I can’t afford any of the pieces with more precious stones, although many are exquisite.
I bought another pair there for a gift for about the same price, and they too were an original design so I was happy to spend that for twisted sterling silver drops.
Stephen Dibb sends out a glossy and gorgeous booklet about once a year and the designs are truly beautiful. It’s also interesting that he tells us he buys his gems ethically and supports a village in Africa, inviting us to help him too, so that’s a good reason to support the store if you’re in Cleveland anytime.

When I spotted this place, the dark interior with carefully lit cases full of sparkling jewellery made for an intimidating but very enticing picture. I’m always afraid to enter stores like this, sure that the staff are as aware as I am that I’m not going to purchase anything and just want to stand in awe.
Stephen Dibb Jewellery has won an impressive list of awards, from recognition of their jewellery skillful design, to people’s choice awards for favourite wedding jeweller, to retail awards. Clearly this is an accomplished business, and therefore a great place to go if you’re searching for a unique piece of jewellery.
For the record (especially for my boyfriend’s, if he reads this), before I entered the store I had no idea that Stephen Dibb are experts in wedding related jewellery; wedding bands and engagement rings among other things, I was simply drawn like a crow to the shiny object. Their website even offers a full guide on how to choose the perfect ring and how to propose, something I’m sure many men will appreciate. And in case you somehow screw it up, they offer a full refund.
