A friendly, family run café that boasts ‘high quality arabica ground’, which unfortunately fell short on the quality of both their coffee and food. What they bring in selection and service, they lack in quality, taste, and price. I order poached eggs on toast with a side of pork chipolatas, and an iced Vienna. Asides from being asked what an iced Vienna is, how to make it, and if iced meant completely cold, I had hoped they would serve a nice breakfast. When the coffee did arrived, it was made as ordered, but with a poor quality ground. As for the food, it was equally mediocre. I could immediately tell the eggs were over cooked, the bread was depressing and mushy, but the sausages were a welcome addition. For the price you pay you’d think it’d be excellently, but unground toy that is not the case. If you’re looking for a quick flat white for the road, you might get away with it, aside from that there are much better establishments in the vicinity.

M’eh…it was ok here. The $ 22 full cooked breakfast probably not in the same league as the Hardware Café ‘full toolbox’ up the road in Quinns. It included a coffee but what really got up my goat was the fact the cappuccino was different to the cappuccinos everyone else was ordering… mine was in a different cup and had no chocolate sprinkles… made me wonder if they were using a lower-grade coffee for the full-breakfast coffee. It certainly tasted below par. On the upside, they have gluten-free bread, there were newspapers, complimentary filtered water and the staff were friendly. Outside seating available.
