I’m sorry it’s not possible to offer a review with no stars. We are very regular customers here, and recently bought some silk flowers, which didn’t fit in the vase intended. Just hours later we returned to the store to exchange them for ones that would, and were met with an incredibly passive aggressive, rude manager who insisted they could not assist us with an appropriate exchange. They eventually settled on a store credit of the difference, which we were obliged to use within a fortnight(she also, very aggressively, said that they wouldn’t be getting any new stock in so we’d only have the pick of old stock anyway). Her manner and comments were rude, offensive and showed zero regard for any level of customer service, and we could no longer recommend the store to anyone in the area or otherwise. Such a poor reflection on their otherwise beautiful products and helpful staff. We should add, too, that we do know and understand the law with regards to what amounts to a change of mind purchase. But the law is not the most valuable thing on a store’s side when it comes to profitability: customers are. And they just lost half a dozen more of those.

This store has a LOT of beautiful furniture and housewares. The style is a charming European sort and I would have bought a couple of the Victorian style chairs for my formal living room IF they weren’t so uncomfortable. My draw to this store was the uniqueness. Some of the things they carried you wouldn’t find elsewhere and I will probably visit again to purchase some of the housewares I saw there that I can’t get off my mind. I would say the drawback to this store for most would be that it is a tad bit pricey. They also have a garden and outdoor store next door which I didn’t get a chance to browse.
