AKKA Karate is an Australian division of EKKA Karate established in 1973 under the leadership of President Mick Blackwell 9^th Dan and Vice President Billy Brennan 8^th Dan. The AKKA are current members of the Western Australian Karate federation (AKFWA), Australian Karate Federation (AKF) and world Karate federation (WKF). The only Karate governing bodies recognised by the Australian Sports Commission & the IOC (international Olympic Committee)
