You know that whole mid-life crisis thing where you go and buy yourself a sports car? Well, I can’t afford one yet, plus it’ll probably be a year or two before the Mustang is actually available, so I went the other mid-life crisis route… fitness! Back in the day I rode everywhere. Then I moved to Brisbane and decided I didn’t want to die, so the bike rusted away on the balcony. Anyhow, moving into an office job from one where I was on my feet all day I needed something to help keep me fit, so I got myself a new pushie. Walked into 99 Bikes, told them I was after a bike, got a deal on a 2014 model and walked out with it. They have a club you can join for $ 5 to get special deals, all prices are lower when you’re a member, and they give you vouchers and what not when you spend over a certain amount, plus a $ 10 online voucher too. Plus you have six weeks to come back for a free service, to get the bike all ready to go after you’ve loosened it up. So why only three stars? Well I haven’t taken it back yet, and I’ll do an updated review when I do. I’ve found a fault with the bike(nothing huge, but i’m not happy with it), so I guess we’ll see how they handle warranty issues too.
