Have been to TGIFridays over the years and I must say having been again yesterday, I’m finding the novelty has worn off. We know you can do Jack Daniels glaze on pretty much anything and are happy to give us the small dipping pot for our side serve of fries, but what else you got? I’m finding TGIF’s are looking and seeming tired and there’s really nothing on the menu or service-wise to draw us customers back. Service was ok, food was fine, beverages just the same… the most animation I got from the waiter was when I added a tip to my bill. Kinda did that to see if there was some life in the waiter. It’s time TGI moved from being in the doldrums of the week that was and actually looked forward to the weekend.

T.g.i’s has a great range of American style cuisine. Burgers, nachos, sandwiches, steaks and the like. With such a wide variety, too much choice can be an issue. I always go for the swiss mushroom and onion burger, or chicken fajita nachos. The cocktail list is huge and the long island iced tea is exactly as it should be. Worth visiting T.g.i’s just for a drink pre or post cinemas. The quirky diner-esque environment and ambience makes it quite similar to hard rock café.
