It was a Friday and I was heading to the station for my first exam. Everyone is looking forward to the weekend except me haha extra study it was(life of a uni student right). Thinking that a bit of caffeine might help pump me up, I decided to try the Cofi House for the first time. I’ve grown to drink coffee more in the arvo than the morning(since I’m a morning person), which is why I never came here for a coffee even though I caught the train to uni nearly most days of the week. But now I wish I came on Fridays more! They have this thing called Flirty Fridays where the barista will call your name a little bit sweeter than normal! I dig this creativity! The coffee was good, the little hole in the wall café had great aroma and I left with a smile on my face. What more could I have asked for? A regular size coffee with set you back around $ 3.50(usual pricing).

I was on my way to work early on a Saturday 7am and grabbed a coffee here as I had time before my train, there was quite a line up of people but they moved quickly through the line and I had plenty of time before my train. I have a long black so good coffee is important to me with no milk to filter the taste of bad beans. The coffee was rich and not at all bitter which is sometimes difficult to find. $ 3.50 for a small coffee is about the going rate for quality coffee. Highly recommended.

Haven’t yet tried the coffee but the sandwiches are quite nice. One of my favourite sandwich shops in chatswood. For the Muslims looking for halal food, the staff here confirmed that chicken and beef in the sandwiches is halal. They get thumbs-up from me for that!

Little coffee joint as you leave Chatswood station on the ground level. My flat white was pretty good and it was a prime people watching corner despite not having more than 6 seats. They were doing a roaring trade around midday on a Sunday that I was in the area. Quite hipster in it’s décor — pity it wasn’t slightly larger !

One of the new coffee shops to open right next to Chatswood station. Staff are somewhat friendly(variety said hi), coffee came out reasonably quick. Pretty average pricing; Small skim cap = $ 3.50 Not really a fan of their coffee to be honest… It was a tad too bitter(which is a risk when making skim coffees). One really cool thing was their impressive assortment of yum scrolls(see photo)… If only I wasnt on a diet! Short queue: 8⁄10 Friendliness of staff: 7⁄10 Speed of coffee making: 9⁄10 Value: 8⁄10 Coffee: 6⁄10 Overall: 6.5÷10 (out of the two options diagonal from each other at chatswood station, I’d currently opt for The Steam Engine).
