Mocha Green Cafe

Mocha Green Café is a delightful little café on the corner of Hawthorn Rd and Glenhuntly Rd in Caulfield South. It probably goes quite unnoticed as it’s hidden a bit where you have to walk past to realise its potential. They obviously have a good local following as people were constantly walking past getting take away coffees and chatting to the barista.
They have good coffee here, which is why I suspect people return. I was very satisfied with my Di Bella latte that was perfectly heated where it was strong enough as well as being sublimely frothed. It was very pleasant sitting down and enjoying the coffee where it’s a shame it’s in such an unfortunate position in almost a «dead land» part of the street. There’s constant traffic in your ear and nothing to look at so the big downside is its ambiance. This is probably why it gets a lot of take away customers where I was the only one sitting.
