Castle Taj is fantastic! The food, atmosphere the staff. If you love a great curry I highly recommend a visit. I always bring family and friends here, any excuse to visit then devour a mixed naan bread basket or their delicious fish curry. The curries are flavourful and incredibly filling. Great choice of vegetarian options too! If you live in the hills it is a must to experience. If you enjoy adventures, I recommend making the journey from whatever post code you dwell in!

I ended up going here out of desperation and wow I’m glad I did! I was craving some Indian and all the other local places were closed as it was a Monday night. After finding this one on Unilocal I drove down there, ordered, and waited in anticipation. I have to say it was the most flavoursome butter chicken I’ve ever had and the cheese & garlic naan bread was great too. The do BYO and have a pretty cool looking ‘outdoor’ section. Its ‘outdoors’ but still undercover within the arcade they’re located in. I’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic Indian vibe, you can smell the curries from at least a km away(slight exaggeration!) — the tables are spacey and service is good! The menu is also quite comprehensive, with basically ALL the wonderful sides and curries of India! I was a big fan of their entrees, they were spectacular. The onion bhajhi in particular, I implore everyone to try it, then I dare them to stop eating it. If anything however, this restaurant was let down by their serving of some of the main meal. The daal I got was quite salty, and unfortunately, the naan were dripping with oil. This being said however, their kadhai paneer was exceptionally tasty! I hope it was a one off experience with the daal and naan!

Went here with a mate we are both very much into Indian food! Very spicy at that. Food was good service was also good but the spice just wasn’t enough even after asking for it ultra spicy. Saturday night was very quite with 4 other people there at 7:30. Overall good food nice quite eat.

This restaurant has one of the most comprehenisve meus of Indian food I have ever seen. Not only that, everything tastes as good as it sounds. Set back inside the small Piazza on Terminus St Castle Hill, you have to know the restaurant is there. It is quite large and decorated in the Indian style. They accept children and they also cater. Going there for dinner on a Saturday can be a little chancy if you haven’t booked because they are frequently fully booked. They have established quite a following overthe years. Their Chiken Tikka and Tandoori Chicken are great but the reason I like going there is that you can order a number of dishes that you simply don’t find on other Indian menus. The Reshmi Kebabs, Kadai Chicken and Saag Gosht are all meals that I enjoy but I can’t find anywhere else. Veena and Sushil have definitely found a market with their regional dishes. Reasonably priced, they have a full menu with tandoori breads, rice, side dishes and desserts. As with all Indian restaurants your lilited to what you can drink because they don’t serve alcohol and have limited non-alcoholic beverages but they do sell Lassi and soft drinks. They also have a very interesting spiced tea. A great experience.
