This is easily the best Malaysian food in Melbourne. Food here is as good as Panang, KL.

Ooh man, Malaysian food is so delicious! You Melbournians got it good. Where I’m from, we don’t have much Malaysian food, and that makes me sad. I don’t remember exactly what we ordered, but I got the beef rendang with roti, I think, and my eating partner got chicken with a peanut-y sauce.(I wish I could remember what it was called!) The rendang had a strong cinnamon aroma and was tender and tasty. The roti was flaky and substantial, but not overly oily. The chicken was moist. Everything was delicious and we will return to try more tasty dishes.

This hole in the wall joint serves some of THE best Malaysian food in the CBD. Prices are also very reasonable compared to the other places around the area but the taste is a cut above the rest. The fried noodles and kway teow have«wok hei», just like how they do it back in Malaysia. I just wish that they open on the weekends.

The Prawn Mee Soup has a flavourful, deep prawn broth with plenty of prawns and the portion is very generous indeed. Many times I’ve been here and it hasn’t been available or they’ve run out. I recommend the Satay Chicken Rice and especially the Nasi Lemak Rendang Beef. And of course a Teh Tarik, or pulled tea, to accompany your dish is a must. But really, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The place is small and can get crowed later on in the night. Service is fast and efficient.
