Nuts About Life

This place is pretty nutty (lol sorry, couldn’t resist!).
They sell everything nuts and nut related products. Probably best avoided if you are allergic, but if not, definitely worth giving a go. They not only sell nuts, but a huge range of dried fruits and nibbles and dips.
The prices are fairly reasonable, and they generally have lots of little samples so you can try things before buying.

I love a good nut shop. Supermarkets just don’t provide anywhere near the same number of delightful options. Nuts About Life also has all sorts of sweets that aren’t easily found anywhere else. Try the Baklawa, it’s the Middle Eastern version of a Baklava, and its only $ 1 a piece. Yep, that’s pretty damn amazing, but at the same time it’s very, very bad news for the thighs. You’ll find other Middle Eastern foods and spices like proper tahini, falafel, sahlab and zatar. Prices are pretty good all round; some things are better priced than others. The wild figs are a steal here. The owners and workers are very polite and don’t mind having a good chat. If there’s anything you don’t recognise, and perhaps would like a try, just ask.
