After completing Physical Education Sarina went on to study Chinese Medicine at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. This five year double degree involved travelling to China to undertake a Clinical Internship at the First Affiliated Hospital in Nanjing. This internship involved extensive learning and observation in various departments such as: gynaecology, paediatrics, internal medicine, dermatology and acupuncture.

Sarina’s main interest and expertise lies in women’s health including fertility, IVF support and pregnancy. She believes in integrated health care whereby both Eastern and Western medicine can work together. This attitude is highlighted by Sarina having worked at the Northern Hospital in the Emergency Department practising acupuncture in her final year of study and at the acupuncture IVF support clinic in East Melbourne.
