History

Established in 2001.

Ktenas Solicitors & Barristers, through its Principal, Steven Ktenas, aims to provide a personal and professional service. Our service is based on our belief that communication is the key to being a good lawyer.

Instead of delegating your matter to numerous junior staff, our Principal relies heavily on the latest technology to help him ensure you are provided with a personal and professional service at competitive rates. Our principal still prefers to answer his own phone (where possible) so that he can keep in regular touch with his clients.

Based in Carlton NSW (near Kogarah), we are in close proximity to Kogarah and Sutherland Local Courts and are within a relatively short commute to the Sydney CBD where we conduct many of our matters (such as in the Family Court and Federal Magistrates Court). Of course we can travel further to other courts (within NSW).

There is plenty of off street parking available near our office and we are relatively close to Allawah Train Station.

Business Owner

Steven Ktenas is the Principal of Ktenas Solicitors & Barristers.

He is a member of the Law Society of NSW and is entitled to practise as a Legal Practitioner (Solicitor & Barrister) in New South Wales. He completed studies in both Commerce (1988) and law (1995).

Prior to establishing his own legal practice in 2001, he gained extensive commercial and legal experience in the corporate, government and private sectors.

Steven has gained valuable experience and achieved positive outcomes for numerous clients in a wide range of legal matters including as advocate in many Local Courts, the District and Supreme Courts of NSW. He has achieved many outstanding results in the Family Court of Australia and Federal Magistrates Court.

Steven has a warm and approachable personality and believes that communication is the key to being a good lawyer. His goal is to provide you with a professional as well as personal service.
