Cosentino

I’m on holiday on my own and was looking for a nice early dinner along Lygon street, I passed this little place, it was empty and reasonable priced. Whilst looking at the menu outside I was approached by a friendly waiter who offered me a deal, come in for dinner and he will give me a glass of wine… well how could I refuse that smile and free wine. The veal was delicious and the sauce creamy but the serving was large for me and I should have skipped dessert earlier (who am I kidding. no I should not have). The Vegas were fresh and done right and not over cooked. I also had some garlic bread as well. In the end I was charged for my main course only, what a lovely gesture. People started to arrive as I was leaving so 5pm was just the right time for a quiet meal and time to walk it off :)

This is the real deal very nice service and great well presented food, a true 400 gram steak! Very tasty.

Great Great Great. Food in fantastic, service is excellent. Lygon St, the «Littl Italy» district of Melbourne, host many phonies. This place is the real deal.
