When the closest bunnings is a 45 minute tram away, sometimes you need to resort to your local hardware store.
Happy to report that while small, Carlton Hardware & Handyman has a great selection of tools and devices but if you need to save a few pennies, i would recommend taking that 45 minute tram.
The time i ventured here, it looked like stock was low because only half the items listed on the shelves were actually there. The other downside is price, I dont think anyone wants to pay $ 35 for a hammer.
The store is good if you desperately need to get your hands on some tools but if you’ve got more time then i suggest paying a larger chain tool store such as bunnings for more savings.
