A review on a laundromat? You bet your bottom dollar!
This isn’t one of these new-​aged, fandangled laundromats with chai lattes and toasted sandwiches available. Nope. It’s a bloody laundromat and that’s it.
I end up coming to the Carlton Laundromat at least once a week in the winter when my house is so cold I am unable to dry my clothes. Their dryers run on seven minute cycles but you’ll definitely need at least two of those to get everything dry (for some reason they’re just not hot enough?)
This is an unmanned laundromat so it’s best your BYO change (a couple of bucks per spin). Thankfully the North Carlton Canteen is directly next door. They are generally pretty good at giving you change if you need but why not grab a coffee and read a book while you’re waiting?
