It is quite refreshing to know that whichever Pure Indulgence I visit, the service and quality is pretty much on par with the prior. There are some ladies here that put the hard sell on you with regards to products after the fact, but if you stand your ground and tell them it’s not something you are after at this stage, they do back down. I had a great signature facial here, the lady was very good with her ‘medium’ pressure massage and the oils they use were really refreshing. All organic Yuva are always a plus in my book. I do like the fact that they stopped chatting to me during my facial as well as there really isn’t anything worse than a chit chat when you’re trying to relax without having to sound rude. This does vary from therapist to therapist though. Prices are pretty reasonable and who doesn’t love a gift voucher for a pressy?

Had a 1 hour relaxation massage. It was excellent. She really focused on the areas I asked. Even though it’s in a busy mall, it made me feel like I was on holiday. I get massages once or twice a year at different places and this was one of the best I’ve had, even compared to those at boutique spas or 5-star hotels. Only detraction was the little attempt at upsell of products after the appointment.

I got a gift voucher for Pure Indulgence last birthday. Like most people, it’s not something I usually treat myself to. Pure Indulgence really is as their name suggests. It is on the bottom floor, in the middle of Carindale Westfield but as soon as you step through those magical doors, the loud buzz of the shopping centre disappear and you wouldn’t know you were there at all. I had a massage and pedicure and both were so relaxing. The back massage was to die for! Seriously, treat your self, you won’t regret it. They completely customize your massage for your skin type. The pedicure was great too. They buff, file, massage, the whole bit and I got purple toes, just because I was feeling like purple at the time. I came out feeling perfectly relaxed. Candles, essential oils, calming music — everything is just perfect. I will definitely be going back or at the very least, ask for Pure Indulgence gift vouchers from everyone form now on. A shame you have to walk out back through the shopping centre though.

If feet could orgasm, mine would have had one during my Pure Pedicure recently(50 minutes, $ 55). They were massaged in all the right places, bathed, buffed, filed and polished. All while I was lying down on a bed. The only criticism I have is that their nail colours are pretty standard and I like a statement look — but that’s easily solved. I just took my own favourite fluoro polish. But it’s not just my tootsies that have been, ahem, pleasured at Pure Indulgence — I’ve also had a few Pure Indulgence Signature Facials(70 minutes $ 115) as Christmas and birthday gifts too. I’m talking a hot stone back treatment, with a cleanse, steam, exfoliation, facial massage, mask, and eye treatment. Plus there’s a shoulder, neck and head massage as part of it too. Needless to say, I was well and truly surfing the pleasure wave. Quality and excellence is the aim of the game here — even a simple, standard bikini wax I had done recently was done with extreme care and, most importantly, a very, very gentle touch. I wouldn’t say I enjoyed it, but it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. So go on, spoil yourself. Or better still, get someone to buy you a voucher as a gift…
