Physio Plus

The lovely team at Physio Plus have helped me through some dark times.
The first was when I’d flown home from London for a Christmas visit to see my family. Having just recovered from an operation in the UK to sew my ruptured achilles tendon together, my injured foot had swollen so much after the 24 hour flight it looked like it belonged to an elephant, not a human.
But they massaged the swelling down without making me panic about anything (I found out later that if they’d not done that properly, it would have hardened and possibly my tendon would have ruptured again!) I then had weekly treatment until I went back to London a month later.
The second time I came to Physio Plus in distress was from a back problem (I’d somehow managed twist my pelvis from lifting heavy things). I’d again come back to Brisbane from London for a holiday and I was in so much pain that I’d almost cry if I sneezed or coughed. The physio I’d been seeing for a month in the UK had not even come close to fixing the problem.
It took about a month of weekly sessions and being given certain exercises to do, but I was soon pain free and able to walk around properly again.
I think I’ve seen every different physio in this company and each one has been patient, understanding and totally clued up about what they need to do to help me feel better and pain free.
