I had really high hopes for this place but unfortunately that didn’t happen A couple months ago, my friend and his best friend since high school and I decided to come down to capalaba to try this place out for dinner since we heard it was BYO alcohol and both of my friends happen to love Thai food as well. When we arrived we were greeted by the cashier in a not so friendly way and asked if we had a reservation which we said no but we happened but the owner said it was fine. That was the start of things to come. When it came time to order our meals, I ordered the Fried calamari as I found nothing else on the menu was to my liking or was super spicy, my second guest orderd a massaman curry while my third guest ordered a roast duck. I found the calamari wasn’t even calamari and was way overcooked to the point that it was so hard to eat I was better off getting something from Maccas to eat which ended up spoiling my evening. The massaman curry was ok but my friend said it could have been better but was satisfied while my other friend enjoyed his roast duck. Overall it wasn’t a good first experience and I definitely will not return again in the future as I wasn’t happy with 1) how my meal was cooked and 2) the service of the restaurant itself from the waiter to the cashier who seemed to have no interest in what she was doing which was disappointing.

Ugh. Terrible. Unfortunately when you look at this place objectively, it’s a dingy little room with old 90’s themed tables and chairs serving mediocre westernised Thai dishes. If you’re out as far from the city as Capalaba, you should probably focus on getting out of there, and not eating Thai food. Service staff were disinterested to say the least and were playing on their phone the entire time. I would rather stick a cattle-prod in my ear.
