This is a suburban park with the Canning River running alongside it. It has public toilets, drink fountain, playground, benches, tables, and BBQ facilities.
It’s a quiet park frequented by locals in the know. It is also along the ride and kayak/​canoe trails of the Canning River Regional Park and an excellent location to stop off for a picnic or to soak in the atmosphere.
If you ever want a picnic that doesn’t include half the population of Perth and the hassle of a BBQ roster system, scout out this location.
Not many BBQ areas in Perth can also boast fishing as an activity.
