Ever-changing nice sweet and savoury small item options available at this modern style Asian bakery. They do very nice cakes — lighter in texture as compared to Italian cakes. Ice cream cakes available as well. They do coffee too but haven’t tried it yet.

Finally it’s here! I don’t have to lug the milk custards back and worry about them spilling in my luggage. This bakery is amazing. If only they make the green tea melon bun! The charcoal bun looks funky but is totally delicious.

Finally! BreadTop is in Perth. So many baked goods of the Asian fusion variety. Soft breads and pastries with an east meets west theme. This is where my intake of gluten and sugar spike. So here’s how it works when you head in. Grab a tray and a pair of tongs. Then start at one end to start serving yourself with sweet and savoury breads and pastries at price points below the $ 5 mark. Yup. Freshly baked goods below $ 5. Although the loaves of bread that you can get are at $ 6.50. My recommendation of an introductory selection in case you suffer sensory overload: — Spicy Beef Bun — Pork Floss Bun(trust me on this unless you don’t eat pork) — Egg tart — Sesame balls with mung bean filling — Croissant(any) And if you want one of their bread loaves, I highly recommend the pork floss bread loaf but Carousel store doesn’t seem to make it. Yet I won’t stop asking. So for now, if you’re heading towards satisfying your sweet tooth, the red bean loaf is one to try. For a savoury experience try the ham and cheese loaf. I’m withholding the final star until this store makes pork floss bread. Yeah, you heard me. I want that pork floss bread.

I have been waiting so long for a place like this to open in Australia, this is a Singapore /KL /HK style bakery. Everytime I go to KL or Singapore I make sure I visit the bakerys there. You basically grab a tray and some tongs and select what you want. This place is really good, great selection of cakes and breads. I had the coconut bun is which is amazing and the butter bread is so soft and yummy! The spicy beef buns are great as well! This place is a new favourite, carousel has lifted it’s game so much! They also have Pappa rich now :)

I was looking for a snack to take into the movies, other than the Hoyts snacks on selection. Found this shop and to my surprise tasty, cheap and a awesome line up of treats. Not sure how long they have been open? they are down near Coles. Will be going back again.
